We start off optimistic and excited about the new thing we're doing.
Then as we realize the new thing is maybe a little harder than we thought and we haven't found success immediately, the negative thoughts start to creep in.
And in act three of our emotional roller coaster of a one-person play, tragedy strikes and we realize:
- "This is terrible"
- "What am I doing with my life!"
- "Who am I to do this. Who was I kidding?"
- "GARBAGE!"
Or...all of the above in no particular order.
And if you stay there you're bound to keep paying the price of the emotional roller coaster because you won't ever get off.
You'll only find success when you have the self-awareness to realize you can push through.
So if you're a creative person, you're going to have to make a decision.
Do you ride the roller coaster over and over again until you get sick of all the unfinished projects you have?
Or do you buy a one-way ticket to the end and push through to success?
The choice is yours and you're the only person who can make it for you.
