Imagine you were building a brand new house from scratch.
Don’t worry… someone else will do the actual building part. Your job is to design it.
Without a doubt you're excited! You can see it all in your mind. You're going to design your dream home.
Before you know if all sorts of ideas start popping in your head:
- Hmm… what color to paint the walls?
- How are we going to decorate the kitchen?
- Which room is going to be used for my studio? :)
You spend hours debating over what your living room will look like, the ergonomics of the room placement, and all the details of your new pad.
However, there’s no use thinking about any of these details if your house doesn’t first have a solid foundation.
Without that foundation… nothing else matters!
If we flip that around to music production you’ll see that most aspiring producers do this EXACT same thing with their music.
They dream about what their music could be and zoom into all the tiny details…
The color of the walls, what type of sofa, where the T.V will go…
But miss a fundamental part of their approach!
So let me ask you…
Which of these problems play on a loop for you?
- A feeling of overwhelm when staring at your DAW
- The thought that you don’t have the right tools to release quality music
- You can’t make great music because of a lack of musicianship and/or music theory skills
- You have a regular job & family that you simply don’t have the time to pursue your music dreams
- Endless 8 bar loops that you rarely seem to complete… you can’t finish tracks
- You've been at this for a while and have accumulated a ton of gear but have very little to show for it
- Maybe you’re suffering from the belief that you’re just not cut out for this music thing
Look - we all know that analogy of the plane that leaves LAX for JFK and what happens if it’s just ONE degree off.
By the time it hits New York, it’s hundreds of miles off-course!
Having the wrong approach won’t just send you hundreds of miles off course… it’ll send you to a completely different planet!
And that lack of approach is what keeps so many music producers stuck.
And the worst part?
They don’t even REALIZE they’re making a mistake that’s costing them thousands of dollars, countless months of wasted time, and an immeasurable amount of unfinished music (and maybe you didn’t realize it either… until now).
This is a mistake I want to help you fix.
Most aspiring producers don’t have a production problem, They have a process problem.
Imagine having a process that helps you:
- Finish more music
- Create better quality tracks
- Unlock new levels of your creativity
- Overcome writer's block for good
- Finally, get that pro sound
And most importantly: never get stuck again.
Over the next few days, you'll see exactly how to use that process.
Stay tuned!
