Fun times today.
I just added the
multi-track to "Chopper," the new hard rock song we're working on inside the Mixing With 5 Plug-ins Masterclass that's coming out next week.
Fun fact: the song is called "Chopper" because of the guitar riff. The thick delay and
flanging combined with the muted strumming from my guitar playing made the riff sound like a helicopter. "Chopper" was probably only a working title but since we never released the song it never changed to anything.
So in a way, this multi-track and hard rock masterclass is a real blast from the past and an exclusive download from the old Pan archives.
I wanted to add the multi-tracks in early so everyone
could have a chance to tackle the song on their own.
But more importantly, I wanted you to beat my mix.
It would make me immensely proud if you can take the song and make your version sound better than mine. I would happily concede defeat if anyone uploads a finished mix that completely slays mine!
Here's the finished mix I created, using only my go-to EQ, compression, reverb, delay, and saturation plug-ins.
And here's where you go to download the multi-tracks to beat my
mix:

Enjoy!
