My favorite part from this review is not the warm fuzzy feeling I get when people like my work (I'm a
little vain sometimes...) but the action he's taking to apply the knowledge he's learning.
With the amount of information you can learn online, it's easy to get overloaded with endless online courses, eBooks and audio seminars. The thing is, just the very act of buying something that's supposed to help you gives you a little dopamine rush of satisfaction. It tricks you into a feeling of accomplishment.
However, that tiny rush pales in comparison to the giant dose of gratification you get when you finish something and actually learn from it!
Not that I have any experience with Crack Cocaine, but I'd compare it to the difference between chasing the high from Crack or applying the practice of meditation every morning.
One gets you high, stupid and flat broke.
The other helps you achieve lifelong calm and happiness.
You choose which one you like, but I'd highly recommend the latter.
