My sister sent me a link to a funny t-shirt store.

The t-shirts said,

“Surely not everyone was kung-fu fighting?”

Of course, my sister knows me well and she obviously knew this would make me laugh.

Because if you were to take the lyrics to “Kung-Fu Fighting” literally, we’d have riots in the streets!

Busses would be full of ninjas in Kung-Fu robes, ready to spill into the streets for hand-to-hand combat:

You'd have to fight the Karate-Teller to the death just to check your bank statement. Every crosswalk in New York City would become a Kung-Fu free-for-all.

It would be chaos!
