Happy New Year !
Welcome to a brand new decade where the possibilities are endless :)
I've been running Audio Issues for about ten years now, but I think this last year has been the most impactful.
I recorded and mixed a bunch of songs this year, released the second edition of my best-selling book, Step By Step Mixing, but more importantly, I helped a lot of you make a greater impact with your music.
So many people reached out to tell me how I had helped them make their mixes better that I even created a special Spotify playlist with some of your songs!
Releasing your records can be super stressful, especially if you're doing it alone. You might not know whether your mixes stand up to the records you love. And it's hard to release a song when you're not completely confident about whether it sounds the best it can be.
Even if you finally finish some of those songs that have been sitting on your hard drive and upload them to Spotify or Soundcloud, you're not really sure what you're supposed to do next.
It's a big problem and going it alone is sure to lead to even more self-doubt and nervous anxiety.
This was the biggest problem I set out to solve for you guys in 2019 when I opened the doors to my brand-new membership community, Audio Issues Insiders.
Insiders is the place where you go to vanquish your self-doubt, confidently finish your mixes and proudly release your records.
In the last four months, we've created a community of record-releasing musicians who know they can rely on the support of the community to give them feedback to help them release their songs.
We've also created valuable masterclasses to answer the question: "What do I do now that I've finished my songs? How do I create an online presence to promote my music? How do I stay motivated to make more music?"
If you're looking to make a bigger impact with your music in this brand-new decade, you're going to love the Audio Issues Insiders community.
I'll be opening up the doors real soon but before I do that, I wanted to ask you: What are you looking to achieve with your music in 2020?
Please let me know. I read every response!
Cheers,
Björgvin
