What's going on?!?

I wake up to a 2 am phone call telling me the United States is banning travel from Europe, essentially exiling me to Iceland for the time being. Later it turns out, I'm exempt because I'm a U.S Citizen - I knew that would come in handy!

And then as we're having breakfast, the ground shakes as a 5.1 earthquake hits my hometown, the entire apartment trembling for a few seconds.

Not only do I have to worry about the Coronavirus, but now we might have another Eyjafjallajökull-style volcanic eruption on our hands!

I feel like I'm an extra in the movie Geostorm with Gerard Butler!

However, the best thing about making music in your home studio is that you can stay away from disaster altogether. You can keep making music in your home studio as the world falls apart outside. 

And don't worry, in the immortal words of OK GO (or Abraham Lincoln...), this too shall pass:

And if you're stuck at home, whether you're in quarantine or not, look at this as the perfect opportunity to brush up on your mixing skills.
