I spent all afternoon yesterday mixing an awesome Halloween song from a Norwegian artist and this morning I thought I'd update the workshop training a bit.

So here's what I did...

I added a BUNCH of extra info about my step by step mixing workflow. 

• My 7-step process for getting a good static mix
• My 6-step workflow for using EQ and compression (with a breakdown of the frequency spectrum and a compression cheatsheet)
• 10 ways to use effects throughout your mix to make it bigger and wider
• My 9-step process for making my mixes translate. Honestly, everything else is pointless if your mixes don't translate across speaker systems...
• And finally, a quick primer on using reference tracks to get your mix sounding closer to professional records

Honestly...I may already have overloaded your brain with info before Ryan takes over and talks about his stuff...
