You can read as many
newsletter and blogs (like mine) as you want to help you improve.
But the thing is, you’ll never get a full path to improving your productions.
It’s just impossible to put such an extensive subject into one email or blog post.
So you read this and that, putting snippets of EQ tips, recording tricks and mixing techniques together that will hopefully get you closer to where you want to be.
But that’s kind of like cobbling a chair
together out of a pillow, a piece of string and some branches from the yard.
I mean, you might be able to pull it off and sit on it.
But is it something you want to bring out when your girlfriend/boyfriend comes over for the first time?
I didn’t think so.
Better leave that in the closet there then…
It’s the same with some of the tricks you read on blogs (such as mine!)
Sure, you can
totally use one of my EQ tricks to make your (insert instrument here) sound better.
But if that’s the only thing that sounds good in the song then it’s not really that effective.
Your other tracks have different needs and you need a whole plan of action to take your production from a rough idea to a finished production.
Just like you actually need a chair that’s designed to be put together…and the DIRECTIONS on how to do it.
That’s why I recommend Joe Gilder’s Production Club so much. He’s taken all of the things you need to know to take your productions to the next level.
Until TONIGHT MIDNIGHT he's offering his course for 60% off!
I know you have songs in your head or half-recorded that you want to finish.
And before you say it, it’s not just time that you’re needing.
You can have as much time in the
world but I bet you wouldn’t spend it on that next song you want to finish.
You don’t spend time on it because you simply don’t know what to do next. You’re struggling because you haven’t figured out the next step.
Well, the next step is obvious.
Instead of wasting more time not prioritizing your passion you should jump on over and grab Joe Gilder’s 19 week course.
It’ll tell you exactly what you need to know to
finish those songs you so desperately want people to hear.
Worried about not knowing parts you should record?
Joe covers that in the 2 week pre-production stage.
Unsure how to record what you want to add to the song?
You’ll get the keys to getting it right at the source in the 5 week recording phase. You’ll become a master of recording great tracks.
Bored with editing
because it takes too long?
That’s tough, but understandable. However, you won’t think twice about it once you realize how much better it can make your mixes.
Let’s be honest, you just want to get better at mixing
Well, you’ll get 5 whole weeks of training you to make the most of your mixes, from getting great drum sounds to using automation for the sugar on top.
And then there’s the taboo of
mastering
Don’t be scared young padawan. Joe’s 2 weeks of mastering training will put your mind at ease about how you can master your own tracks to make them sound punchy and loud.
Oh, and that’s not all. I’m gonna give you my 5 week course for free just for signing up!
Music Production Strategies is where I take you on a journey of listening, analyzing and deconstructing popular songs throughout history.
We'll cover things such as:
- Various song structures and how it can affect the listener when you create dynamics in a song
- How abnormal sound choices during the engineering phase can radically change the feel of a song
- The effectiveness of
counter-melodies to support the main hook and chorus of a song
- How you can learn songwriting and production lessons from any genre, whether it's 70's folk, 80's disco rock or New Americana
Simply send me your receipt after you've purchased Joe's course through my link below:
And I'll give you free access to my course that I usually sell for $97. It's closed to new members and only available through this special promotion.
But you gotta hurry, his 60% discount ends tonight and so does my promotion!
Enjoy taking your productions to the next
level!
