Watch over the shoulder of a professional mixing engineer

I wanted to tell you a little story about where I started learning about audio.

It's actually pretty funny because of how small the world is but this was back in 2008.

I was living in Spain and going to audio engineering school.

In between lessons I also surfed the web for more audio tips I could use at school.

(Let's be honest...to be better than my fellow students....I'm competitive like that).

One day I stumbled upon this blog called Audio Geek Zine, run by this guy Jon Tidey.

I think I might have read everything he had to offer on there and I loved it.

It was so good I just had to share it with my fellow students, which is probably the reason everyone in the graduating class of 2009 cited www.audiogeekzine.com in their end of the year research papers.

Fast forward to the present and coincidentally, Jon Tidey and I are actually pretty good friends.

Small world.

He still runs Audio Geek Zine but he's refocused his efforts on another great website called The Reaper Blog.

If you're a Reaper user I'm positive you've heard of it.

He just came out with his first ever tutorial package, Mixing In Reaper, which has his perfectionism written all over it.

It's a fly on the wall view of watching him mix a song from beginning to end where he explains his thought process while he's mixing.

These are high-def, beautifully edited and in-depth videos with over 4 hours of material using Reaper.

In case you're interested I'll make you an even better offer that I know you can't refuse.

For the next 24 hours! If you grab Mixing in Reaper Vol 1. through my affiliate link here: www.audio-issues.com/mixinginreaper I will give you my Mixing Strategies tutorial eBook+video package for free.
