It's Mixing Monday
inside our Facebook Community.
If you're not in there chatting with the others you're missing out!
The Importance of Practice
I just told them the story of how it's important to keep practicing your mixing skills even if you don't have anything to mix.
Join the Christmas Mixing Challenge here if you don't have anything to mix this week!
I'm in between mix work this week as I'm waiting on a
deposit from one band and revision feedback from another.
So what I tend to do when I want to practice is log into the Dueling Mixes community and take a stab at their tracks.
I think you should keep practicing just to keep your skills from getting rusty.
Huge End of the Year
Sale
And if you're looking to improve your skills with some more training I thought I'd draw your attention over to Home Studio Corner's Humongous End of the Year Sale!
Here's what Joe sent me this morning and I thought I'd pass it on:
"ALL
MY COURSES ARE 50% OFF.
All you have to do is head over to the Home Studio Corner Store and add the products you want to your cart. The 50% discount will be automatically applied.
It's that easy.
I lowered the prices on all my products earlier this year. Now you can get them at half-off the already-lowered prices.
'Tis a steal, I say.
If you've been thinking about getting Understanding Compression, or maybe
Speed Mixing, or even the Production Club, now is the best time to get in on the action.
Sale ends when 2016 does.
Here's the link
Thanks!
Joe Gilder
Home Studio Corner
P.S. The sale includes all
my courses, but does not include VIP or Dueling Mixes or any of my services (like mixing, mix critiques, etc.).
P.P.S. If you're a VIP member, use your special discount links in the members area. You get 50% off your normal 30% discount. I don't know what that comes out to, but it's dirt cheap.
P.P.P.S. If you're not a VIP member, you can join now and get even steeper discounts.
Details here."
How's that for a great deal?
Jump on it if you're interested. Joe has some of the best training out there.
Talk to you guys later, I have to learn a couple Icelandic Christmas songs for the radio tonight!
Seeeeeeeeya!
