All feedback is not created equal.
It can often say a lot more about them than you.
Hopefully, you’ll receive something constructive and helpful.
But some people use it as an excuse to tear you down, in the name of giving you “some feedback.”
That advice someone gave you to help you improve your work?
Valuable and actionable.
That angry email or Facebook comment where somebody lashed out at you because they didn’t like what you made.
Worth ignoring.
For every negative comment, there are ten silent supporters.
Life is too short to worry about the people that get pissed off because you said something they didn’t like.
You’re not for everyone and that’s ok.
You’ll never find success in the comments section.
And you’ll never find success by allowing the naysayers to push you off balance from your path.
