"I really cannot express how Audio Issues has altered the trajectory of my music. Until 2020, my experience with recording and mixing was from the other side of the glass, nodding at the engineer, hoping that just a fraction of my vision was captured in the process.
If building a bedroom studio was one of the craziest decisions I have ever made, taking Bjorgvin's classes and joining the Insiders was one of the wisest. Bjorgvin has a way of explaining all the "magic" so that even this novice can begin to understand; and I am grateful for him and every single member of Audio Issues Insiders.
In this often highly competitive and cut-throat industry, Bjorgvin and the Insiders have carved out a supportive community where we are encouraged and given the tools to create our best music.
This project would not have been possible without my stellar mixing coach Ed Elefterion - he has an ear for detail, a most creative soul, and the patience of a saint. A couple of these songs passed between us 11 times before they passed muster. Yeah, Ed, I kept track. Like I said ... patience of a saint. Learn more about his studio and coaching services here.
Randall Reichenbach nailed the mandolin on the Fault in Me, and I am grateful for his inspiration. Randall reached out after hearing an early version and said, " ... mandolin ..." and made Fault epic. You can listen to Randall's amazing music here.
Armando Almirall Jr. AKA The Witch Doctor @ Witch Doctor Productions added a touch of metal electric guitar to Heavy, and I am grateful for his friendship, generosity and talent. My Miami metal friend made Heavy a little heavier!
And thank YOU, to all who listen. Without you, the creation is not complete. So kick back and let the journey begin: She Walks the Stars, a space opera ... a story of love, light, gravity, and quantum entanglement."
